Mirror Image Productions was established specifically for “indie”
artists as a TOP NOTCH production company, at AFFORDABLE prices!
Mirror Image has formed an association with some of Nashville’s
top “A” list session players who individually have worked on RECENT sessions for
artists such as: Shania Twain, Brad Paisley, Jo Dee Messina, Kenny Chesney,
Dolly Parton, Tracey Lawrence just to name a few!
MOST studios recording “indie”
artists use a “studio band” or a “house band” to record your session. These
sessions are usually completed start to finish in a week or less and are
commonly referred to as “DEMO” sessions. They are NOT professionally produced
sessions!
A typical Mirror Image session will take
approximately 6 to 8 weeks to complete and includes the
following:
- Find
material.
Conduct a thorough “song search” to find you TOP NOTCH material
from the best writers and publishers! (if you are using your original material,
Mirror Image will analyze and prepare an arrangement for commercial viability)
- Mechanicals.
Assist you in securing proper mechanical rights.
- Publishing
know-how Assist you in securing publishing for your original material,
if needed.
- A professional producer. Each session is professionally
produced for each artist based on the artist style, and material.
- “A” list session players. ( players that you hear on HIT SONGS
every day)
- Two
Studios/Two Engineers.
Each session is recorded using TWO studios and two engineers,
thus insuring you get that Nashville template and sound!
- A “rhythm section” session. This is where we lay the basic
tracks, and includes drums, bass, acoustic guitar and keys.
- A “master” vocal session. A typical master vocal session will
take 2 days for the artist to come into the studio and lay their vocal
tracks.
- Professional vocal tuning.
- Unlimited instrumentation. Our sessions are NOT “bare bones”
sessions! Don’t settle for minimal instrumentation. Our sessions include, but
are not limited to (as needed):
- Drums!
- Bass!
- (keys) Piano, organ, leslie, strings, horns!
- Acoustic, acoustic lead, gut string!
- Electric guitar with as many as 5 overlays!
- Multiple fiddles!
- Steel guitar!
- Slide guitar!
- Mandolin!
- Banjo!
- Back up vocals with as many as SIX overlays!
- Professional Mixing.
- Professional mastering. (radio ready)
- 2 copies of your mastered cd.
- 1 copy of your cd converted to MP3’s
- 1 copy of your backing tracks w/ background vocals.
- 1 copy of your backing tracks w/o background vocals.
